OUR STORY
It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. Sathyametafoundation.org is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in our community. With a variety of active projects and a large volunteer staff, we harness our skills and resources to successfully achieve our goals of delivering free meals, providing shelter to the homeless, donating books and helping those in need. Since our founding in 2020, Sathya Meta Foundation has been proud to witness how our activities have benefitted the community of Florida and beyond. Want to take part? I grew up in the southern part of India and am grateful that I had a happy childhood. During my middle school, my heart spawned with fulfillment as I took up multiple volunteering events, especially in old-age homes and orphanages. Seeing the smiles on their faces made my day. As I volunteered for our school sports day, health awareness campaigns, it made me realize that I enjoyed the thrill of helping others and the immense satisfaction it created within the soul. I decided that I would spend the maximum amount of time doing this!
Before I knew, I was recognized and awarded by the President of India and the Governor of Tamil Nadu for my volunteering work and leadership qualities.
Migrating to the USA right after engineering was a big change and an experience in itself. Years pass as a homemaker and a mother of two. However, I have always personally helped, involved, and volunteered around the family, friends and community. Now I would like to extend our hands to the community by joining hands with family and friends in creating a bigger impact for our society. I humbly welcome you to join this journey of joy and giving!

It is so easy to fall into a pattern of apathy as we go through our lives. Our organization was born out of a commitment to stop passing over the real issues of society, and deal with them head on.
